So today I am at one of our campuses and I just overheard a couple of members who are here early because they are serving. They were talking about our upcoming service projects that we’re doing to celebrate our church’s 30th anniversary. One of them said, “I can’t take off work for all the stuff we’re doing – I’ll lose money.”
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t laying aside your wants, comforts and schedule to feed the hungry and clean up your community supposed to be sacrifice?
